The model was designed with 150 COBI construction blocks in 1:48 scale and includes only high-quality prints recreating the markings of the movie plane. The North American P-51 Mustang was an American single-engine fighter of the Second World War. It was produced at North American Aviation facilities in the USA and successfully used by the US Air Force and its allies during World War II and the Korean War. A very successful design from 1940 meant that the aircraft was constantly produced until 1986! During 46 years, approximately 16,000 Mustangs were produced. Today, many of these machines are in private collections, just like in the movie Top Gun: Maverick™. Mustangs are also still used in airshows and sport competitions.
