The T-34 tank is one of the most important tanks in history. It was developed by the Soviet Union in the interwar period and played a key role during World War II.

The block model from COBI is durable and perfectly reflects the dimensions and shapes of its historical inspiration. In addition, the tank has working tracks. The turret and barrel are also movable. After removing the turret you can look inside the vehicle. Under the service hatch you can place a block model of the engine. The model has durable prints imitating equipment details and markings (Soviet and Polish to choose from).

The T-34/76 tank, also known simply as the T-34, was one of the most important tanks in history and played a key role during World War II. In the 1930s Soviet engineers began work on a new medium tank to replace the older T-26 and BT-7 models. In 1939 prototypes were created, designated as A-20 and A-32. The final model, the A-34, became the basis for mass production and was named the T-34. T-34 prototypes underwent intensive testing and in 1940 mass production began in Kharkov. The first models had a 76.2mm L-11 cannon, which was quickly replaced by the more effective F-34 cannon. The T-34 first saw combat during the German invasion of the Soviet Union in June 1941. Despite initial logistical and training problems, the T-34 proved to be extremely effective on the battlefield. Its sloped armor, good mobility and powerful armament made it an opponent that German tanks had serious problems with. T-34 tanks also found a place in the 1st Warsaw Tank Regiment, which was part of the 1st Tadeusz Kościuszko Infantry Division. T-34 tanks with a white eagle painted on their turret fought, among other battles, at Lenino and at the Warka-Magnuszewski bridgehead.
